Chip Simkins, CEO
For over 17 years in the mortgage industry and a graduate of Radford University, Chip Simkins has built a positive business reputation by putting clients into mortgage programs that are beneficial in the long run.
After leading Old Virginia Mortgage as Sr. Vice President for over a year, Chip and business partner, George Temple, Jr., bought OVM in October 2010, obtaining the CEO position. Prior to this, he was branch manager for C&F Mortgage, a Vice President with Towne Bank Mortgage and served as the President of Tidewater Mortgage Bankers Association.
Securing options that are financially best for his clients, he is continually rewarded for their repeat business, loyalty, and respect among the real estate community.
Most importantly, Chip is a proud dad of four active children for whom he volunteers his time and resources in their schools and extracurricular activities, including coaching and fund raising.
